trying to sell a vehicle on Craig' List, got a scam text in return wanting my home address so they could send me the full asking price site unseen, and he'd have a third party pick it up
I had the same thing except this guy tried to tell me he was in the Army and deployed and wanted to do whatever transaction. Im in the Army and its sad that we fight for freedom and justice and people like that impersonate us and make the United States Army and the Government look bad it pisses me off and it hurts tbh I have friends deployed and im waiting to go myself.
Same deal for me, deployed in the Army. Then 2 days later in the hospital because his wife had a baby. I'm retired Army so after he didn't reply to numerous specific questions the red flag was verified. This guy actually sent me a fake check for more than my asking price expecting me to deposit it and pay someone for the shipping of my bike.
