I go through Glens Falls and just got this, do you too? How would they have gotten my number? (I've only had my bank account for about a yet so I'm still new to this lol)
I received a call from this number identifying itself as Champlain Bank. When I called the number I was told by computer my debit card had been locked. I do not have a debit card with this bank.
Husband got a text and then I did as well saying to call this number due to "an alert from Champlain Bank".....which I do not bank with.....AN OBVIOUS SCAM!!!!
Received a text message, stating
Champlain National Bank alert to ...Contact 724-824-0095. I called the number and it was an automated message, did not identify the Bank, saying my debit card was compromised, and asked me to press certain numbers. I hung up. I do not have an account with this bank, and it is an obvious scam.
