This person texts me to buy an item that I listed on Kijiji and asks for me ship the item to Nigeria. He is very polite and says that he would like you to send him a money request from paypal and offer you the item's listed value and also will offer to pay the shipping charges on top.
If you follow through and send him the money request, he will then contact you again by text that he sent you the payment. The payment is fake and it will indicate that the money will not be deposited into your account until you provide a tracking number. You can even log into your paypal account to double check it. The status on the payment request will not change.
The individual will then try to push you to ship the item right away as he has been honest and fulfilled his end of the bargin. Do not fall for this.
