Caller ID - Local Call Area - lady knew my first and last name said she was collecting for a police association, she said she mailed me info last April and I did not respond and now they would like a credit card number. I told her if I did not respond then that meant they were not legit and then politely hung up.
Caller ID shows "Grove City, PA" which is close to me but the only message was, "Hello, Are you there?" I assume that they want you to say "Yes" and use your recorded response in a scam to "prove" that you agreed to something fake.
