Caller tells you there was problems updating your computer and they need you to walk through it manually. They attempt to gather IP address information and configure windows remote access. Typical criminal activity. Poor English, horrible accent. I think they are going to starve to death before they actually pull this scam off.

Some man called and I could barely understand him. He said that he noticed whenever someone or someone in my family downloaded something, we were downloading some kind of files. I asked him why he would be monitoring my computer. He said he wasn't, that most people do this. At this point, I hung up. I think he was trying to sell me some security program or trying to access my computer.
