Got this call two days in a row. First time I picked up to no sound. Next time I was out and call went to answering machine. All that was recorded was a high pitched static (no it was not a fax sound. I know what that sounds like). When I called back I got the same thing that Maggie B got: number is not in service. You know, we have a Federal Communications Commission. I live in Pennsylvania and the originating number is from Florida. I am on the Do Not Call LIst and I am getting these calls. Why do I have to hire an attorney to track this down??? Doesn't the FCC take ANYTHING on themselves??? How many people need to complain before someone at the FCC collecting a paycheck from our tax dollars does anything???
Call was from a company wanting to lower my electric bill. I did not pay attention to name of company, I just said I was on the do not call list and she hung up before I could tell her to take me off their list.
They call from this number repeatedly. When you try to call it back to tell them that you are on the do not call list and that you want to be removed from their list, a recording indicates the number is not in service. Well then, how the heck did they call me? SCAMMERS for sure!
