I received a call from 727-221-2281 at 7:51 am Chicago time. I don't answer calls that I don't recognize the phone number and always search phone numbers that I don't recognize. I added the phone number into my phone and blocked the number.
I received a call from this # in FL (EST) from a guy claiming to be in Mtn time zone. He said he was a Microsoft representative, reporting multiple hacked signals from my computer were being received. I asked, "How do I know you're not trying to hack my computer?" The rep became angered with some lame response.
Got a call from "Indian" sounding man saying he was from Microsoft and said my computer was sending error messages. He asked if I was in front of my computer right now - that's as far as it went - before his scam was recognized. Be Aware - Law Enforcement - Please Pursue.
Just received a scam call from this number. Said they were Microsoft and for the last few weeks my computer had downloaded some viruses and was I aware of the issue. I said "No, but I will have my IT guy look into it." They hung up. How rude!! Blocked the number.
Pause when I answered, then an Indian man saying he was calling about my computer (didn't identify himself with a company or tell me his name). He said they had a report that there was a problem with my computer......that's when I hung up.
