Unwanted calls...call early in AM wake up whole household. Our number is on the do not call list, to no avail. Still get Robo calls and other unwanted calls.
They called today. After 10 or so rings, they hung up and called again immediately for 4 rings - then gave up.
CALLER ID just said ST PETERSBURG FL
Place-names in the caller ID box are almost always scammers, so I'm suspicious, but when I Googled the number, none of the usual scammer reporting sites had a comment on this number, so either it was a legit friend (in which case I'm sorry), or else they're a new scammer and this is their first time being reported.
Lastly, I tried calling the number from Skype and it hung up without ringing, Skype merely said, "Could Not Connect". Some cell phones do not accept incoming calls from Skype, so that could be the case here, or else they just do not accept any incoming calls in which case this is more likely a scammer. I don't want to try them from my home # and risk them calling me back again if they are scammers. I hope someone else can post something more useful here.
