got a call from this number. Seems to be legit telemarketer. first time I didn't pick up.
Second time I did. I waited for the two seconds req'd before I could count it as an abandoned
call to report on (had quite a few lately) but I got a woman on the phone.
she was offering to send me an invitation to apply for a CC account to an special online
shopping site if I was interested. I told her my office just had a layoff and I may be
next and wasn't interested. I also let her know that I was on the do not call registry and
to please remove my number from her call list. She said yes, she would notate that on my
number. I have had not a call from this number since.(been one day) but I have requested
other telemarketers to do the same only to keep getting re-dialed. so at least for a day
I haven't been dialed ! ;-)
I signed up at a food bank and this is the only person I gave my number to and now I get these calls from loan companies. This one is called Mongo and you can opt out to get these calls.
Please call your da about this and perhaps the FBI.
All....just called into them and I was able to find out why I've been getting calls from this compnany. I just filled out a cash advance application on line. this company is affieated with them and they offer a line of credit. Seems like a legitamit deal. Nice lady in cs explaned everything and that they would stop calling and they did. Hope this helps.
Lady called wanting to give me $100 worth of gift cards if I gave her my credit card number. When I told her I wasn't interested she hung up on me very rudely.
