Recieved the call today. The woman said she was was Spinnaker Resorts and they were offering 2 nts/3 day stay at Blue Water Marina in Hilton Head, SC for $129 total. "It gets even better!" They also claim to give a "bonus" of a 3nt/4 day cruise to Mexico or the Caribbean for free. They were overly excited on the phone (I was transfered to the "manager" to hear my extra bonus! $100 check). It was all suspicious due to being over played and high pressure (on top of asking for money over the phone). I said no thanks. I'm not sure if it is a scam or not but they just seemed too scripted and excited. The woman kept trying to bond with me saying she loved the town I lived in, but each time she pronounced the city incorrectly, and it is a simple name... They did know that I took a vacation with the resort last year but stated I listened to a "promotional talk" while there, which I did not.
