They just called...evidently I've committed three crimes, including bank fraud, blah, blah, blah...and would I like to go to court or take care of this over the phone? When I laughed at the guy, told him I'm TOTALLY going to court, he had a very meek "okay" then hung up.
They said they were Crimes & something, paid little attention. He read me an "affidavit" of all my crimes, but of course would not tell me who it was I "cheated" out of money, or who was prosecuting me. He did, however, have my name and address.
Unsolicited calls from this and similar numbers for payday loans and car insurance. Refuse to remove number from call list even though number is listed on the National Do Not Call List. Total, bogus scams!
