Caller ID say "INJ AMER VETS". They leave no message.
I call back after business hours (using *67 to block my number). I hear the following, "Hi, you have reached the customer service line for Injured American Veterans' Foundation. If you'd like your number placed on our do-not-call list, please, press 1 now. If you'd like to speak to a customer service representative, please, press 2 now."
I select 2 to discover more. I hear, "We apologize that we're not able to take your call at this time. Our normal hours of operation for the customer service department are: monday through thursday 9:30 AM to 6 PM Mountain Standard Time with a lunch from 3 to 3:30; and friday 7:30 AM to 4 PM with a lunch from 1 to 1:30. We are closed on saturdays and sundays. Otherwise, please, call back during our normal business hours so that we may assist you. Thank you and have a wonderful day." I have heard this word for word before. They have removed the initial line "Hi, you've reached customer service for Corporations for Character." CfC is an annoying telemarketing firm. They seem to align themselves with many scumbags. They call relentlessly from many numbers."
I get lots of calls from scam veterans' charities. I get none from legit ones. Pulling this all together, I am assuming this is a SCAM.

Called at 8:48am(!) Diverted by a service I subscribe to that intercepts robo-dialed calls (rhymes with SoNoHobo). Since it was before 9am, I also reported it to the National DNC website.
Oh joy another caller claiming to help INJ AMER VETS.....sure you are....sorry hit the call blocker on second ring...nice try.....now go get a real job and stop using veterans for your scam
Received a call from this line near 9pm at night. Seriously? Sounds like spam and I don't care who the hell it is, why on earth call near 9pm at night? I'm not answering the phone at that time unless I know the phone number. I'm not taking a number from scumbags seriously.
I agree this is harassment to say the least. I only support my local veteran organizations. I can see where the funds are being used. I do not respond to mail request either but now that I think about it haven't gotten those since this type of garbage started. Fines, no electronic equipment to use for a life time. Should make getting a legit job real interesting unless it pushing an old fashion broom. Illegals go home and call your fellow country people.
