had this number call me and asked me the same thing they asked connie. i didnt except the grant so i dont know if its real. said his name was RICHARD and was calling me to send my grant..
I got a call saying that they were from a government agency give grants for deserving people. He asked me a few general questions and asked what I would use the money for and I said to pay off bills. He gave me this number to set up the transfer of funds to Walmart for a cash retrieval. Not going to call but when someone offers you $8500 in free money it is tempting

The government does not call people up and offer them free money because you paid your taxes on time, have never been arrested, have paid all your bills, or whatever excuse they can make up. In order to get a grant you need a valid reason (not one of the above and not just because you need money), you have to fill out tons and tons of paperwork, wait a long time, and might not even get the grant in the end. If you are lucky enough to get the grant after all that paperwork, they do not ask you to pay taxes, transfer fees, or any other types of fees. Also, please note that the government would never ask you to pay these so called taxes or fees to some anonymous person using Western Union, Moneygram, or any of the cards such as iTunes cards which is a new favorite among foreign scammers.
