Called while out and kept saying Hello Mrs ----- several times. Lots of background noise behind her. We are unlisted. Paying that fee to phone company doesn't mean a thing!
Called here many times in the past and left no message. I decided to answer the call on the 4th of July. It was a man who identified himself, knew my last name, and asked me about my electricity bill. Our noon TV news had just run an article on these scammers just moments before the call; how ironic. Now they are leaving door hangers on peoples' house doors, no ID as to the electric company's name, asking people to fill out the card IMMEDIATLY or their service will be interrupted and send the card back to a PO Box. Hard core phishing going on here! They are after your personal info. If you get a door hanger, contact your electrical provider and report it. MAJOR SCAM ALERT!
Report the matter to the post office. Tell postal inspector that what you are being asked to fill out is some sort of scam. Looks like mail fraud to me.
