Someone called today at 5:51 PM, 5:53 PM and again at 5:55 PM. The caller ID on each call said: Saint Peters FL. My answering machine picked up each time and they did not leave a voice mail message. In the past month I have received suspicious calls from 727-350-7800, 727-350-7801, 727-350-7802, 727-350-7804, 727-350-7805 and 727-350-7807. I found some complaints about this number on https://www.nomorecall.website/1-727-350-7803/7273507803. My phone number is registered on the national & Florida Do Not Call Lists. However these are probable scammers and WILL NOT abide by the DNC List!
I am also on the national and Florida do not call lists and they STILL called but I called them back and they have an option (2) to have them put your number on their own do not call number registry.
This number ,belonging to Bright House, called me in the past so that's how I know it is a Bright House number. I also did reverse lookup on white pages and it is listed as Bright House. The person on the other end said they were calling about a job I applied for online and then asked what type of job am I looking for. I told him that if he saw the job I applied for then he would know what type of job I'm looking for. He asked again what type of job I was looking for. I asked him if this was a scam. He immediately hung up the phone. I called back and Amy answered and said "I see that you are looking for a job. What type of job are you looking for?" I asked her what her company name is. She spoke very fast so I only heard half of it. Local Jobs. I asked her to repeat the name because I only got half of it. She repeatedly asked me what type of job I was looking for but would not tell me the name of her company. I asked her if she was a real job recruiter or just a scam. She hung up on me. I called back and got the number's voicemail. It said they are career advisory, not Bright House. Is it a scam? I think they hacked into someone else's number to try to get personal information on potential victims.
Person said "I'm a hearing administrator calling on a recorded line." I said I'm not going to speak with you and suddenly the call was dropped. I did that because I was suspicious.
