My rule is if they don't leave a message, it's a scam. period. And guess what? The people from this number did NOT leave a message.
And no. It's not ok to pick up the phone and have my time wasted by a scammer - no matter what country.
If you would have listened whoever you spoke with told you you were "selected" for a discount if you would tour our resort.TIMESHARE.If its 498 that means its not free......HIGHLY DISCOUNTED.YOUR creditcard is to charge 498.00 for a 2000.00 vacation.Have an open mind bud were in the usa and thats what creditcard numbers are put on the card for....to buy things on the phone.cheerio
this is not a scam...it's a discounted vacation. do YOU know what that means. Check you intelligence level before you bother to attend these events, and make sure you read the form that you fill out at the show. They pick ONE winner from the event as it SAYS on the back of the registration form. Oh and by the way, the people that do WIN the trip, still pay taxes on that at the end of the year. They include a form that you have to fill out. Oh, and by the way, just because you WIN the trip does not in any way imply that it is FREE. I suggest you look up the term "free" in the Websters dictionary. While you're at it, look up the term "scam". You should know what these words MEAN before you and the other brainless idiots out there starting throwing them around. I sure hope that this clears up things for you, and that you are not so naive to think for a second that ANYTHING in this world is 100% free.
Well, it's obvious that you didn't win the FREE trip. But, someone else DID. Granted, they still have to pay taxes on that at the end of the year. That's the government for you. You were, however, offered a DISCOUNTED vacation, which is just a fraction of what you would normally pay for a trip like this. Believe me...this IS totally legitimate. The $498 pays for your stay at the hotels and the 2 attraction tix...nothing more and nothing less...
I received a call and so did four of my friends that also attend the hunting show. i won a trip but i have to pay. one of my friends that received the call is an FBI agent and he informed me that it is a scam and that the FBI will be investigating this company.
Did your FBI friend ever find out anything about the company? They called me today about a trip in FL-I went to an expo a few days earlier and filled out many forms for free trips, so it's hard to remember all of them. She will call back tomorrow, so not sure about all the credit card information.
