Said I won a trip to Florida from a bridal show but only needed $498 to "get these great deals" asked for card information and when I said I'm not comfortable giving my card over the phone. Women got hostile. Such a scam!
This is Denise with Resort Tours, these customer's didn't win a vacation. That's why they pay a promotional/processing fee for the vacation. We are a license & bonded "Seller of Travel" for 17 years and just like all resorts we have limited availability, your booking your room at a discounted rate. Just like you go on "Tripadvisor" you book the dates right then to get the discount with a credit card. And if we are such a "SCAM" WHY ARE WE STILL IN BUSINESS ASKING FOR CREDIT CARDS.
I made the mistake of filling out a form for a free vacation, and did not use my usual fake number. (I was more interested in the bottle of wine.) So yeah, my fault for getting these calls, but I suspect some of the calls everyone else is getting are because of other people using "fake" numbers. My fake number BTW is from a known scammer, so the calls you get are not my fault!
These people are a joke. You didn't win anything they ask you to pay 498 for a Disney trip. They actually called my boyfriend and I at the same time but hung up on me lol. Scumbags
