I don't know what has happened lately, but I am getting a TON of business loan scam calls. I don't even own a business!! It is a waste of time, and annoys my co-workers when my cell phone rings incessantly with these junk calls.
Part of the problem with using these tools to block all Robo calls is they can also cause issues with legitimate Robo calls from schools or local law enforcement etc that use the system of Robo calls for informing people of problem or emergency. They need to get off their lazy butts and create exceptions lists that include the Robo numbers from trusted sources so they can implement these tools.
I made a complaint one one of these jokers. I have my home and my cell phone listed on the Do Not Call list for years. I was fortunate enough not to have any problems on my cell phone. In the last two years, I get 2 to 3 a day sometimes. I'm not sure what's changed because my phone usage has remained the same. I was informed in a written letter from The government entity who monitors these complaints, since my cell phone is listed as business useage, these telephone scammers can call as many times as they want. Absurd. .
