I called after having "Got the trip" from a convention where I did indeed enter the contest. It was advertised as a Disney Fl Dream vacation and round trip cruise to the bahamas for 4 people. It was a man named Brian Egan who was a promotional director. He sent me to the following website: http://www.tnationusa.com where TJ021315014 was the login and 12345 was the password. Here is the info for that site:

Welcome Aboard,
Travel Nation USA
He said there would be an 8% gift tax which totaled $398, which he later lowered to 198 when I told him I was a single mom. (They offer as a gift vice a win to get around tax laws legally.) Here is what that gets you:
5 days/4 nights in Orlando at either Raddisson Parkside near Disney or Ramada Plaza near Universal. It is for 2 theme passes for a SINGLE day. Then 3 days and 3 nights at Marriott Beach in Daytona. There is an up to 90 minute "resort tour" and 10-30 minute "orientation" which is mandatory where they attempt to sell you a 10 year pass of some kind to the resort. He recommended I look for $79 SW rount trip to Orlando deals because they cannot give away air flights because of laws related to homeland security.
So, IF you are looking to go for a nice resort, but not really looking for the theme parks, and if you can live through 90 minutes of some kind of hard sell, this might work for you for $400. (I did not ask whether food was included, but day spa etc was).
He said 4 people, but at the end said something about two twin beds, a couch (and maybe there was a roll out?).
This is not the vacation I want for my family, and I don't like to charge things. I told him (while I was still mulling over the possibilities) that I had only started thinking about next summer's vacation yesterday (true statement). He wanted me to pay up front. I told him I would need time. "How much time would you need?" Did I mention I don't like being pressured? I told him I suspected he wouldn't give me a few months and he almost curtly agreed. Then I told him I don't think this works for my family. He thanked me for my time, told me to have a nice night and just before I hung up, I heard him say "Wow!" (probably to a coworker) He was clearly not happy with not getting the sale. Total phone time 22 minutes.
I got a call from them today claiming they represented a festival I attended. I was told I had 'won' a 'free' Florida vacation. The smarmy telemarketer raced through the details quickly, saying I had won tickets to theme parks and 'a 90 minute visit to a four star resort', whatever that was along with several nights in a hotel in Orlando, and several more in Daytona Beach. Then he said he needed a credit card number, and I'd be charged $498 for double occupancy. That was when I declined the offer. They never identified themselves beyond saying it was from this festival where I was dumb enough to enter 'the contest.'
I dug into this more. The number 727-807-7085 is out of New port Richey Florida. The number is registered under Angelika Lucht, Rankin Dr, New Port Richey, Florida. Unfortunately, i couldn't find the house number. The street is a very small street just outside of Tampa. The guy who most of you spoke with is names Patrick, but most likely not his real name...Angelika is a German national whom most likely owns the home and Patrick is most likely just renting, doing his bogus "win a free tip to Florida" scam out of the house phone line. Somehow He is getting the info from people filling out sweepstakes forms...that I am looking into the source of. In the mean time IGNORE THE CALL AND DO NOT GIVE PERSONAL INFO.
Just told them I was going to pass on their "Florida Vacation worth over 10k" because i really didn't have the time to get my girlfriend on the phone and listen to their speech, at which point the caller "Brian Keegan (last name best I could decipher)" got snippy with me and then just hung up in a huff.
Same here.got a call from same number today and same story about winning a trip to florida. He said it was from signing up for a contest at rock USA in Oshkosh wi.,I Didnt ever enter a contest for a trip to Florida when there.he also said his name was pat at first then when I asked him for his name later in conversation he said his name was jack Anthony. He asked about what type of credit card I had and if it was credit or debit,I told him that i no longer had a credit card because I changed jobs and my new job paid me in a check form instead. His attitude changed almost immediatlley when i told him I no longer had credit card he became very short with me after he knew I didn't have a credit card and was trying to hang up that's when I asked him for his name the second time and I was given a different name from the first time I asked.he also asked if I was working at the time.the questions about the card and if I was working where the first things he asked me.!I agree its a scammer.I'd like to rip the f#%ker off myself for playing his sh#%ty game.Dont answer it and definitely Dont give them your credit card info if you do answer.!he had my home address also which I Dont care for!if you do find out who this individual is please inform me!
I dug into this number even more. It is out of New Port Richey, FL. The number is an extension of Travel Nation USA. Each travel agent has an extension from their original number (727-807-7003). When looking up their address, you will find a residential neighborhood. That is wrong, their ACTUAL address is 5623 US Hwy 19 unit 104 in New Port Richey, FL. They have an A- rating with the better business bureau. If you go directly to the better business bureau website, you can look up Travel Nation USA. It will give you their correct address (listed above). They are rated based on advertising, billing, service, delivery and guarantee. They have also been hired by a wide range of Expos, such as hunting and fishing shows, bridal shows, and agricultural expos in which they have had extensive company background checks. For more information, call the customer service number at 727-807-7003. I was hesitant, but I looked into this company and made sure I did my research before anything. I believe it's okay.
