Got a call, said hello, heard a ping then a mechanical voice that said good bye..
I called back, got a message, "about thank you for purchasing" .... I hung up.
Received a call from 727-897-5623 on my cell phone. When answered there was an immediate hang-up. I called back and immediately heard a sales pitch for an online educational program. I politely interrupted the sales person and told him of the call and hang-up. He said he couldn't understand how that could have happened as they have no capability of placing any out-going calls. However, he did apologize for any inconvenience there was. In my opinion, these calls are computer generated and are only referred to a sales person if the call is connected. It irks me that telemarketers feel they can intrude whenever and however they want to. My cell phone has been kept private and personal and I would like to keep it that way.
