Congress does not care. They are supported by Verizon, Frontier, Comcast and the rest. All the providers make money from the internet and phone traffic. A very small mount for each call which adds up to millions of dollars. They will never let congress do anything about the calls. They are part of the problem. The problem is easy to solve technically but congress will not let it be fixed. The truth.
Hey, I called this number back with call block. You hear a long message that even offers to take you off the calling list. Explains hours of operation, everything. Nice right. One problem. Never mentions their name, their business, why they call, etc.....Not a damn thing. Left them a long message about how legitimate companies identify themselves, the purposes of their call, leave messages, etc...
