Another call from "Heather" (she's a very busy lady) telling me that my car warranty is expiring. Just bought a new car 4 months ago. Pretty sure my warranty isn't expiring any time soon. I, promptly, hung up.
Never verify or give any personal information and then a simple 'Yes" alone won't be enough to run a scam. Always pay attention to the "pitch" if you decide to stay on and find out what they are calling about, before even telling them a thing.
