Recorded message "courtesy call" - says they've called me several times and this is my last chance to reduce credit card debt. WHY do these companies get away with calling people on the Do NOT call registry!
Got a call, listened to the message about lowering interest rate to 6%. had to have $3000 in credit card debt and at least one card in good standing. Pressed 1 to speak with someone. They answered, mumbled the name of the company and their number and said "I hear you are interested in lowering your credit card interest rate". I said no, I'm interested in not getting calls from you any longer and I want you to remove my number from your system. The person disconnected the call. When I called back said # was disconnected.
