I had the same situation with this guy. He wanted to send a certified check from bank of america. It takes weeks to verify the signature don't fall for this junk.

just got a call from this  Jack A@@ about Craigslist posting  wants to send me check.. what a joke Thanks for the info!

they sent me a text about my car and when I asked him to verify everything via email they said you sound like a scammer. they started they lived in ny but have this tenn. number watch this number everything sounds fishy.

Assumed Craigslist scammer who sent a text message re my car for sale ad. Ignored it.
