These people are bottom feeders; they feed off people hard luck whose credit card debt has been written off, used as a tax write-off. These people either harrass you constantly by calling u constantly. Usually these are OLD debts and they threaten you, harass you etc but have no teeth to collect because of legal time restraints.
I know...and I have gotten calls from All these numbers.....I have Call Blocker on my cell...It is a Blessing.
I recommend it...Let it go ...We All made mistakes in the past. at least I did...Stop hounding me!!
AS THE FCRA DETAILS, YOU ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO PAY ANY COLLECTORS WHO HAVE PURCHASED YOUR BAD DEBT SINCE YOU HAVE NO LEGAL BINDING CONTRACT WITH THEM. YOU ARE BEHOLDING TO THE ORIGINAL GRANTOR AND NO ONE ELSE.
