I recived a text as well. commenting on a car i posted. for sale diddnt ask questions either said needed name and adress to send check from "us bank" and would arrange shipping from his shipping company "Name used was steve "
This number called me back to back with same exact text message, I text him back & said No, I have already sold the boat. Never heard anything back ... What Jerks, you can"t even sell an item without being Harrased by people.
This is a craigslist scammer looking to send a cashier's/certified check for a purchase. They might add money to the check and say "reimburse me" for the extra to get that amount of money from you or they might just take your delivered item. The check will bounce after a couple weeks and your bank will hold you responsible for this amount. Avoid this person at all costs.
