Guy called and told me that I had a virus on my computer. I told him the only virus I had ever gotten was from the night I spent with his mother. He didn't call back
Consistent calls for 2 days. Says he has our Micrisoft Windows id & turn on our computer, we have been hacked. I did not of course follow his directions. I hung up on him & he calls back and asks why I hung up on him. Make.him stop!
I figured it was a scammer when I saw the "147" prefix - If that was a legit number it would be impossible to make local calls because the "1" would instantly connect to the long distance lines and await the next ten digits. just for giggles I tried to return the call and got the expected result: "We're sorry but the number you have called has been disconnected or is no longer in service."
