7-26-17 5:52pm called my home in Michigan. No message left. Recently this stinking piece of crap Spectrum (cable tv) company bought out Bright House Networks. Not long after I began receiving calls from this number which shows "Charter" on phone. I don't know if this Charter is related to Spectrum but they called me numerous times per week and never leave a message.
The caller id says Charter. This guy called me twice in two days asking me about my Bright House and how Spectrum took over. I told him that I did not want to make changes and to stop calling and he asked me why. I am so fricken tired of these phone calls and we are on the do not call registry too.
It's a scammer PRETENDING to be Charter. They do not cold call (personal knowledge). Plus, this isn't even a real number-so that just proves my point. Plus, the DNC is not a call blocker (never was) and scammers don't give a crap.
CID lists the call as CHRTER. they hav been calling dailly for about a week now and if I try to aanswer is is blank air..
Today I answered just to see if I could get someone and afert a breef pause a femail voice called me by name and wanted to sell me a bundel of Phone, TV and . Internet. I already have Brighthouse for my internet.
If I recall, CHARTER bought out BrightHouse last year but the name never changed. Noiw SPECTRUM is claimming to have bought Brighthouse, but is Identifying their phone calls as CHARTER. Sounds FISHEY to me!!!!!
Spectrum, a subsidy of Charter most certainly did by BrightHouse. Their name is on your bill and online when you to pay it. I have been getting junkmail from them about bundling via the USPS for several months l, so it is no surprise that they are calling me now.
