I have gotten several calls from them as well. I have contacted the FBI since neither my local PD or Cateret PD seems to think anything can be done short of changing my number.
I've received 3 phone calls from them within an hour. The first I answered - no one was there so I hung up. The second time, I sent them to voicemail but no message was left. The 3rd time, I answered and was apparently on hold, so I waited...here's what I got:
Caller: hello?
me: yes?
caller: hello?
me: HELLO
caller: michelle?
me: yes
caller: hello, hello, hello?? speak up, [***]
....call ended from his line
I called back and asked if the foreign speaking gentleman was the one who just called me, he woluldn't answer the question and proceeded to hang up on me
I called again and got another CSR and DEMANDED my name be removed from their system. I WILL find a way to press charges against them if I receive another call.
