I have never ordered from that company, and started receiving calls from this number at a text only line. So it doesn't bother me. Sounds like they are just calling random people now.
I called the number back and it is a computer that states I purchased something from Carol Wright or one of the other line of catelogs, or they called me for telemarketing blah blah.
I, too, recently ordered something from Carol Wright (haven't received it yet), and then these calls started - Dr. Leonard Hlt - 732-287-7975. Most likely they sold our numbers to telemarketers. I have been on the Do Not Call List for years. I will be reporting them...
I too have ordered from Carol Wright/Dr. Leonard, so this is NOT comforting news to learn that they are
selling our phone numbers to telemarketers. I trusted that these companies were sound and reputable
in their dealings.
If they are calling your CELL PHONE or Home phone.. and its on the DO NOT CALL LIST...
REPORT THEM!!!
I sure am,. They are calling a number that on the "Do NOT Call list" suggests everyone report that Dr Leonard's & Carol Wright Gifts are calling numbers regardless of the law.
I had bought something from Dr Leonard's as it was cheaper then going to a medical supply. I saw that the customers of the site were mostly elderly{ Unlike myself} and are easy prey for these telemarketer creeps, and I bet thats why they are calling them on purpose!. As some will fall victim to them. CALL AND REPORT. If enough do, the FCC WILL go after them.
I'll NEVER buy anything ever again from EITHER SITE.
As a current employees of carol wright gifts I can tell you this.... we are not telemarketers the people that call you check to make sure your order was received we work within the company not elsewhere. And at no time would we say insurance because we offer discount programs. To say insurance we would lose our jobs. The programs are very good as I use instead of insurance. If u would review it u would see also. Our job is to get the information out we only make $1 to $2 per program we get signed up. U can call in 20 seconds ur cancelled and we give u $50 in coupons 2 make that call! Do u think it is easy 2 repeat the information 30 to 50 times a day? Be easy we are doing our best so we can support our families too. We are lucky 2 have jobs at this time. And if we didn't offer the program 2 u when it appears we would not have a job.
