Called landline. CID Carteret NJ. Know no one there. The new scam...they are recording yes responses to use in future calls that you pick up from other spoofed and phony numbers. Do not answer a call if you do not recognize the number. They are CRIMINALS calling. They want to victimize whoever answers the phone. Their sole purpose to profit from their call. They can not benefit you in ANY way. We NEVER answer ANY unsolicited call. All calls screened. We have an answering machine, so these CRIMINALS call daily, they know it is a working phone number. Not one has ever left a proper message with name, company name and valid call back number. Every number we look up on 800notes has been a CRIMINAL calling. Some people say it is a telemarketer. It is NOT. They are CRIMINALS.
Called three times within a minute. No message was left. CI shows the number to be from Carteret NJ. We keep getting more and more calls from different towns and they all have the same idea of calling three times in a row within one minute of time. I never answer a call that I am not familiar with. If they are legit they'll leave a message.
I am having the same issue as Ron - getting 3 calls from the same number within two minutes of each other...getting at least 3 different ones a day and they are all relatively local numbers for me - I just don't answer numbers I don't recognize
