I got a call from them claiming to be an auto insurance company that somehow got my insurance information then proceeded to ask who I was insured with.
Oh, heaven forbid that the outfit you are shilling for be confused for a dirt bag debt collector. It must be hard enough to defend a sleazy outfit that cold calls people and lies to them about having requested information, without having to avoid being confused with debt collectors, an entirely different form of low-life scum from yourself and your co-workers.
It must be extremely tough for you, considering how slow you are. You are only now getting around to making your shilly little “corrective” post on a post made over two years ago.
I saw this phone number on my recent calls list. I recognized the area code as NJ. I live on the west coast, and I go to sleep between 2am and 4am, so if my phone rings at 6 to 7 am, I don't even hear it. I called the number back, as they didn't leave a voicemail, and a man answered, "Hello Nancy", and didn't identify himself, so I hung up. Very creepy! If he calls again, I'll block him.
