Call wanting to place an order for delivery from my shop. I could hear other people in the background so I guessed it was a call center. She asked if I had birthday novelty vases , then if I had a white dish, then if I had a cube vase. When I asked if she was calling from another shop she said yes, and then when I said "No. I don't have any of those vases" she said "that's rude" and hung up on me.
General phone number for a florist that you may have ordered flowers from online. They work with multiple florists across the US, so even if you didn't order flowers from a florist in NJ, you may get a call from them.
An OG (order gatherer), said she was calling from Ruby's in New Jersey (nope), to place a floral order for delivery today.
I'm a real, independent, local florist. Order gatherers take the payment from the customer, then pass on the order to actual floral shops at a smaller amount, using their own credit card. So the flowers that arrive are at nowhere near the value of what they paid.
Contact florists directly!! You'll get something you want, and get what you pay for!!
Received a call from "a florist" - four calls actually - requesting a floral arrangement delivered to our town. We were concerned that they were order gatherers. And indeed they would NOT give us their phone number or store hours. We certainly refused their order. Do NOT accept orders from Order Gatherers!
They called me back (using this number) because I am complaining about an order that I placed that was never delivered. I am requesting the charges be reversed. They would not tell me the company they contracted out to nor any information on their business. It is a run around and I am not happy.
