I received a call from this number about 20 minutes stating that my name, checking account and social security number were under investigation. Stated it was an urgent legal matter and I should contact her or her partners immediately. Caller's identity was obscured, but I could tell it was not an actual person calling but rather a recorded message that was played.
I also received a call that stated I was under investigation , its an urgent legal matter, I am so tired of getting these calls. I have no intention of calling them back. i had pay day loans and paid them off. 2 years ago. and these creeps seem to sell your info to each other. So tired of the crap
I have a company calling me with my information, SSN old address, old banking information telling me that I didn't pay a payday loan and wrote a bad check. Sending panellis county today requesting two felony charges against fraud. They wanted me to western union $1210. After saying I don't have that, they said I could send $510 to settle the legal action. When I said I wasn't going to western union money they said I was playing games and trying to stall and then disconnected the call that I was wasting his time. They wouldn't send me proof any legal action. So I called the police department. Since the company couldn't send me proof to my new address they said it was scam. They transferred me to many different people. I have to say this is a damn good scam. I have a pay day loan I haven't paid from years ago but it's not on my credit and I haven't heard anything about it. The police department said they'd have to contact me before they can arrest me as this scam artists say they will have a warrant for my arrest on a count of two felony charges for fraud and writing a bad check.
I had that call today, also. Didn't make it to the phone on time, but, listened to the message that the woman left. Called her back immediately, and told her that she was running a scam, and if she called again, I'd report her to the police. She told me that I was a scam.
