Received call from Vehicle Processing Monroe Michigan (Lori Smith)...probably fake name. She was very aggitated but I think it's an act to make people make irrational decisions, like purchasing extended warranties for their cars. I was calm and asked her who vehicle processing was affiliated with...she just kept 'yelling' "Sir....we already talked about that Sir!...now do you have an extended warranty on your Cadillac or not, if you do when did you purchase it Sir!" I simply asked her to calm down, using my calm voice, and she suddenly hung up. The only problem I have with this is that if this was my mother or grandmother who answered, they would cause unnecesary stress which would ruin their whole week...that I think is over the top when attempting to market insurance.
After receiving several calls from this number; I looked it up online and found this site. SOOOOO, when I received my NEXT call from them; I answered it (I hadn't answered it until now). And when the barely-able-to-speak-English man on the other end started questioning me about my car; I responded with "Are you calling about my stolen car?" and he said "What"; and I said "Yes, are you calling me about my stolen car? Has it been found??" and he replied with "No, I'll remove you from the list...." and hung up. Give it a shot if they call YOU. :)
