CID showed BELLEVILLE  MI. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. They rang 5 times and hung up.

Didn't answer and no message left.

Didn't recognize the number. Answered and heard 1/3 second of music then "Hello." I hung up on him. Don't care.

I called back the Belleville Michigan # and a guy told me they were collecting on behalf of Veterans. I asked to speak to their HR dept. He would only give me this toll free # 800-270-0018.  I asked to be "Warm Transfered to a supervisor and a woman answered saying I need to call 866-317-7141. The organization is out of New Jersey but she was in Athens Ohio!

CID said Michigan call. Caller said they were calling on behalf of American veterans, starting their fall campaign.  I was in the middle of some paperwork regarding my child's school for fall which needed my full attention. I answered without thinking. I just hung up when he started his why I'm calling pitch.
