Got scam call from this number: 734-408-7801
They said they were from my credit card company and needed to talk to me.
When the guy came on the line, I politely told him I didn't have a credit card with anyone...
He said to me: why the f- ck are you still alive.
Then hung up.
I have blocked this number, but figure they'll find another number to call from.
Pretty sad we can't get rid of this type stuff.
Total scam.
I have comfortably gotten to the point where I BLOCK all unknown telephone numbers whose caller i.d's. don't actually tell you who they are. Legit callers have legit caller I.D's 90% of the time. The other 10% have to pay for all the lowlife telemarketers/scammers.
Wow! This call said they're going to lower my credit card rate! Just press "one" to talk to a representative...or press 3 to be removed. Ive pressed "3" until Im blue in the face so this time I pressed "1" and a foreign-sounding operator came on. I said, "listen you SOB, stop calling me! I know you're a scammer so go to Hell" I then hung up and felt great!!
They called twice within 20 minutes. I NEVER answer a caller I don't recognize so I waited for a message. None, so I blocked them. Twenty minutes later they called again but now they know they're blocked. Even when these creeps do leave a message, it's a dead giveaway. I don't owe a cent to anybody, especially IRS (took me a lifetime!) and I'm not living in fear of a make-believe lawsuit. And that guy with an accent so thick you could cut it with a knife, who's so upset about my 3,146 computer problems, you're not getting near my computer, even if I could understand you!
