NEVER give your SS# out over the phone!  This is a SCAM! They qill steal your identity. they just called and left a message on my cell phone and I am in CALIFORNIA!  Why would a recruiting company frm Michigane be calling me?

It is true that giving the SS# is a bad idea.  But I got a call from this # and did that (things are hard).  They have already set me up with 3 interviews and I think I may have an offer coming.  The company is infotree service.  I think they are mostly a temp firm.

I am not 'Scammer', just a smart, genuine recruiter. You folks are right at your place but AT&T only accept any job application with 9-digit SS# (don't know why) but that's my job and I try to do it the best way I can without troubling you friends.
