45 minutes ago I got the same call, but first person was a guy, with English second (or third) language, wanting to verify "already listed for free" business information -- company name, address. Then he asked to transfer me to a second party (female) with slightly better English, who asked if I was the owner, and asked for my date of birth and mother's maiden name ! ! ! RED FLAGS ON THIS NUMBER
I received another one of these annoying phone calls but this time there was a live person with English as a second language. She identified herself as being from the business yellow pages wanting to update our listing which, being self employed working almost solely on referrals, don't need this kind of service. I was curt and told her I had already reported this phone number and that I never wanted to see this number on my caller ID again. Will that work, I hope so.
