a case has come up with my ssn-we will pursue collections by any means-threatened garnishee-very rude.i informed them of chapter 7-he claims it's not on their records-too bad you bought junk debt.threatened that he has my ssn and will show me what he can do.
This company along with a few others keep calling my grandmother and my place of work (never once do they actually try to get ahold of me on my phone) saying that they represent a client of theirs in the city I work and live in. Claming that I owe them money for either loans or past due bills. I have filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy and these calls didn't start coming in until about 6 to 8 months after it was discharged. Due to my line of business I know that these kind of calls in this situation are nothing but a scam. It really worries my grandmother and makes her think that I am in financial trouble again, which I assure her its a scam and I am not. I also let her know that a big red flag is they call her they never call me. She didn't understand at first that because of my bankruptcy and having her as a reference my whole life that information is in public records and can easily be found by these type of scam artists, It is also why I have decided I wont re-open a bank account since filing my bankruptcy. I advise everyone who gets these calls to google the number and know their own situation before ever calling them back. Also he said his name is James Tate and that he is calling for a client in Spokane Wa never once did he say the company name he was calling from, or the company name his client works for.
HAD THIS GUY JAMES TATE CALL ME ABOUT A MONTH AGO ABOUT A LOAN I HAD.I TOLD HIM IT WASN'T ME...HE CONTINUED TO CALL AND SAID MY WAGES WOULD BE GARNISHED. WELL TODAY I GOT A LETTER FROM MY COUNTY STATING THAT MY WAGES WILL BE GARNISHED STARTING NEXT MONTH.....NOW I WISH I WOULD HAVE WORKED SOMETHING OUT BECAUSE THE AMOUNT I OWE NOW IS A WHOLE LOT MORE.......

The first post on this number is less than a month old.You got called a month ago and now you look up the number on this site to see what other posters are saying. Why would you bother to look a number on this site and post after you had your wages granished? To garnish your pay, they would need a civil judgment againts you and you would have been served a sommons and date a court date.
