Hello I received a phone call from 734 795 4119, stating he was doing an investagation on someone, when I his name he hung up and call 3 times again. ?????
Caller was a man using intimidating voice, left message saying a "claim" was submitted to his office and that he needs me to call him to verify my home and work address so that the "claim" can be delivered to me. He also said that I "have been charged" because of a "claim" filed, and that if I want to settle this directly with the maker of the claim to call 855-825-6747. He ended the message by saying, "You have been notified." My guess is a bill collector / collection agency. No I'm not calling them or giving them any of my info. I would be more likely to respond to a caller who is straight up: "I'm calling from ____ company about your past due balance / money owed," etc. I refuse to respond to the tactics this jerk was using.
Received a call this evening about a investgation on a person who no longer is living here, hasn't for 10+ years. indicated that I could be an assessory in this. Give me a break, threats don't mean a thing when you have no information. Calls again, will file charges for harassment. Have already spoke to my attorney, an definately have a case. Also FTC just loves this stuff.
