The do not call list law does not apply to charities, even the bad ones that spend most of your donation on fund raising.
You need a call blocker.
For a land line a call blocker is an electronic box that plugs into the phone line between the phone and the wall. It also needs an electric outlet. You can buy one at Best Buy or on Amazon for less than $75.
For a smart phone a call blocker is an app. There might be one pre-installed on the phone or you can download one for free.
For a simple cell phone ask your carrier. Or put the pest in your contacts list and give it the ring tone "no ring" or "silence".
State Troopers do not solicit donations. More likely, it is a union/political organization soliciting money on behalf of state police officers, meaning police officers around the state, with the exception of Michigan State Police Trooper, whom are not involved.
I have received 3 calls from this number. I do not answer and they do not leave a message. This site says they are asking for donations. I am on the DO NOT CALL list, which seems useless anymore. How do you get them to stop?
You block them. Consider getting a call blocking device (or app for your cell phone)-they're available online and start around $45. http://800notes.com/nb/search?q=call+blockers They Do work.
