Someone waited on line for us to answer (I have a very short answering msg. that fools the robocallers), but of course we didn't. No idea why they are calling. Blocked...
I have been receiving calls from this number for the last two months. They are evidently a credit collection company since they ask for a Nicholas _______ (sometimes Jennifer). I have had other credit collection companies call me regarding these persons. I tell them they have the wrong number and I know no one of that name. This has been going on for the last three years. I have asked that my name be removed from their lists. But the calls persist, evidently my phone number is being passed around or picked up by different credit agencies. (I already am on the Do Not Call Registry list.) I have threatened to report them for harassment, but this does not stop the calls.
Calls me all the time, night and day. Never leaves a voice mail. Caller ID says IMC. When I called this number back, I got a recording that says that they are "The National Rifle Association" and that they are sorry that they missed my call and, that they will be calling me back soon. What a bunch of horse manure!! I am on the Do Not Call List! Con artists that want all your money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's the NRA. I work nights. I finally answered call and they said Bill from NRA. I said take my name off list. He said sure. Call Shirley Ettleson from
NRA headquarters at 877 672 2000 and give her an earful. She said she was going to take my name off list. We'll see. If I keep getting calls I'll be calling her back to give her more crap. Maybe I can find her house number and start calling her at home!
