I was in a conference so I couldn't answer. The call didn't left a vm so I knew it could not be that important. Googled the number and came up this site to see what everyone else was saying about this number. I added this number to my contact book as Firstname: Don't and Lastname: Answer. That way if they call back, caller ID says Don't Answer. In the notes field of the contact I put today's date. Every time this number calls I put that date in the note field. That way when I check my contact book every 6 months to clean out old numbers I'll know to delete this entry if I haven't received a call from them in 6 months.
I just got a call from this number and when I answered there was a pre-recorded message that said "thank you for calling" like I called them!!??? WTF??? then it said "If you would like to speak with a representative please press 1 so I did. A woman with a foreign accent answered and proceeded to try to sell me one of these Walmart gift cards. I went off on her
I hear now if you push any number on your phone you may be charged a fee. $19.95 the news said. So when you get anymore call like that don't push buttons. I received the same thing you did and did not even give the recording time to get past the word calling. Had another the morning before with a heavy Indian accent saying they were from the technical department. OK good for you ,and I hung up. Have you advertised on Craigslist?? I think that's were they got my number or maybe it's just computer random.
