This number called and it showed up as a call from Pompano Beach. Caller knew my last name and said he was calling about the upcoming increase in my electricity bills. Asked if I was familiar with that. I hung up. If the
call actually had anything at all to do with electricity, the number would have been from FPL and that company
would have been identified on the caller ID.
Male caller said he is with FPL, wanting to setup an appointment to show how to save money on utility bills over $150. I told him my bill is never that high, he asked me repeat, before I could reply he hung up.
Called at 2 PM, I did not answer and caller left no message. I might have answered, but it's no fun slamming down the phone like it used to be in the olden days before these fancy "OFF" buttons.
I woman called this morning stating she was calling from Coral Springs and wanted to speak with me about the electricity in my house. I insisted she tell me the name of the company she works for. She did not and called me by name and new my home address. I told her I refuse to answer any questions until she identify the company she works for. So she said with an extremely obnoxious tone "Cindy, Cindy, Cindy" and hung up. I looked up the number in reverse look up and it connected the number to a landline in Miami!!!!
A nice lady contacted me and said she worked for FPL and they needed access to my house tomorrow..they had the address. This is a scam of some sort....most likely thieves breaking into our homes.....if they come we will be ready
