I never answer out of state numbers, know why? They are always scammers, solicitors or robobots wasting my time. The calls come in my business lines by the hundreds daily. Every number is not answered and immediately blocked. Idiots!!!
Unfortunately, as a business, we have to answer all calls. First there was dead air, then some weird noise, then it hung up. We can usually tell when it's a scam but we do have customers that are famous and they will have their number blocked. Or, we get calls from overseas that have odd numbers. Whenever it has a city and state listed on CID, it's a scam but we still have to answer it. Even that stupid 800-SERVICE number that calls us often hangs up on us is annoying, but sometimes it's a valid call for us.
