Just received a call from this number. I called the number back and it was a voice activated recording. "Hello this is Scott, with College Locate. We help people further their careers and education."
Scott called, I said hello three times before he spoke and since I have only had this number for less than a week I thought it was someone I knew. I was at work when I answered and kept trying to tell him I didn't have time as I am at work and he kept going, I had to hang up on him
Received call from 757-694-2019. Immediately bumped them to my voice mail, where it tells them that I will report their number directly to the Federal Trade Commission, if they fail to stop.
I NEVER answer calls to whom I do not know whom is calling.
I get a call from this number frequently. They ask what you'd like to go back to school to study--they are very persistent in their questioning. One time I told the guy I wanted to go to clown school. He didn't disconnect until I told him I wasn't a US citizen. Asking to be removed from their call list is futile--they go on with the script as if they didn't hear you.
They called three times in a row about one minute apart. Didn't leave a message and when I called their number back, it just rang and rang and rang before disconnecting.
This JOe guy calls my phone numerous times every day and always from a different number. I have elderly mother and ill daughter and feel the urgency to answer the phone when I see an unknow number thinking it could be about one of them. This Joe guy says "Hello, this is JOe, we are on a recorded line, can you hear me okaY" and I hang up and block the number and then he calls back from another number. This has got to stop. I am going to report them to the FCC and FBI immediately.
