I live in the "757" and get spam calls all the time from this area code. Just got one from this number on our landline. They usually call my work cell and I really do have to answer that unfortunately. I notice most of the calls on my work phone start with 757-297, but the one on my landline is a new one to me. I think that most people now are aware of scams via phone so these idiots will have to take a different approach. Although I wish they would just go away altogether, its a sign of the times which makes me sad (and mad!).
They called again after I thought they burned thru all the local numbers, but seem to be reusing some. Again I have tried to call some of these numbers and found all I called were not in service.
