Fact 1) The DNC list CLEARLY does not work, everyone should knows this by know, it's a government program that doesn't function like all or most programs they generate.
Fact 2) Filing a complaint with the FCC does not work, a total waste of time; done that.
Fact 3) Having an unlisted phone will not help you.
Fact 4) Asking/begging telemarketers or press 9 off out their call list does not work!
Fact 5) No "class action" suits are filed and certainly, this is not a remedy. Many of these telemarketers are in other countries and out of the jurisdiction of the USA.
Fact 6) Complaining to the BBB is a corrupt organization that sells their ratings to the highest bidder.

AMAZON.COM has a great selection of blocking telephones & devices, some will hold up to 1,200 numbers. They’re cheap - $40-$80 and they work beautifully! These phones or blocking devices also block “PRIVATE”, “OUT OF AREA” and "UNKNOWN" and “DESIGNATED AREA CODES”!!!
Some phone companies include a *60 call block feature with their service………
So done with this.I get calls constantly all day.I have more blocked numbers than friends.None of the official organisations will do anything about this.It is very frustrating.
The caller called several times and left no messages. When I returned their call a message stated something to the effect that the number was disconnected.
Got a call from this number. Got a message that said Blue Cross/Blue Shield (not my insurance company) has authorized me to get a paid prescription for a revolutionary new pain medication that I can apply directly to the painful area. Pressed "1" to talk to a representative. A guy answered and launched immediately into his spiel. Told him he was breaking the law and unlawfully using my phone number for his company's marketing purposes, which is against the DNC list. We argued. I won. He hung up. I'm getting rid of my land line. Right after I do, Congress with start allowing telemarketers to start torturing our cell numbers.
