I got the same call. The person that left me a message on my voicemail was threatening me. When I called them back then said the name of their company was Federal Crime Investigaters, which I cannot find on the internet. They told me that I took out a payday loan thru their company and that they have tried to take the money from my account and it was returned. Well I never took out a pd loan from this company or any other company for quite some time, and surely they haven't tried to debit my account. lastly they told me that they are filing with the court tomorrow (which is a Saturday) NOT possible, and pretty much I better get an attorney or I will be going to jail. I guess we will see what happens.
I received a call from this number saying we owed a Payday loan and either owed over 300.00 now or over 4000.00 after fees and penalities when they filed court papers tomorrow. Would not give any information about the loan. They said that they worked for the law offices of Damasco and Assoc. in California City Calif. When I called them they do not do anything with Payday loans. We now have a lawyer.
I recived a call from 760-284-4631 last night about 7:30 pm telling me they were some investagations company for cash advance america and that i took out a payday loan in august of last year. These people had my e-mail, my home address, my telphone for my cell and home. They told me that i needed an lawyer and that they were going to file charges against me. I told them to send me the paper work and i would get a lawer. I looked up this number on the internet and found several post of this same company calling other people telling them the same thing. I do belive this is a scam, but i am going to contact my local police department and get myself a lawyer just in case.
